Want to visit a New York Tourist Attraction area, that is a little off the beaten path, but with tons to do, checkout Saratoga Springs, New York. Saratoga Srpings is a unique New York Tourist Attraction, due to the city being relatively uncrowded for about 11 months of the year. The other one month, the world famous Saratoga Springs horse track is open. During the time when the track is open rental properties, hotels and bed and breakfasts are full capacity and expensive. I have spent many summers in Saratoga and a lake front house is essential. The lake is wonderful with great fishing or water skiing. Due to the relatively wet nature of New York, bonfires are not a problem. Noting better than a brisk night and a bonfire overlooking the lake. Also, this area is rich with history dating back to the revolutionary war. There are battlefields and the like a short drive away that are amazing. All in all Saratoga Springs is a great place to relax and unwind only 3 hours north of New York City. It is truly an untapped New York Tourist Attraction.
