1987 Komfort Travel Trailer (L Class) lite 21' (clean title). This trailer is used but in overall decent shape. If you are looking for a new or perfect trailer, please don't waste my time or yours. This trailer is great for someone who doesn't require a ton of space or cannot pull a larger trailer. Trailer pulls with just about anything with a 2" ball and hitch.
Sleeping for up to (4) four. 53"x80" bed in rear and dinette converts to bed. Lots of window exposure that eliminates the cramped feeling. On 5/06 I had the following done: BRAND NEW A/C 13,500 unit installed, replaced shackles and equalizers, installed Brand New Interstate deep cycle battery and did a full pre trip inspection on trailer. Total cost was $1,352.65 (have receipt) and work was done by certified RV center. AC unit comes with 3 yr warranty coverage from date of my purchase. I intended to use this trailer for my parents... but they could not navigate the bed layout as it has access on only one side - the other half is against the backside wall. Paid 3k for tailer and did the work described above - haven't used it since the work was done. I have a new trailer and don't need this sitting in my drivway any longer.
Interior and exterior are in good condition for age. Previous owner had leak in front area but was fixed and entire trailer resealed. 3 way fridge works, pti notes say that one of the three burners needs a ignitor replaced (will light with match) other two auto light fine. Probably a cheap fix. Vent over rear bed needs replaced (does not crank open) or new handle, shower control (knobs) need tightening or replace gasket. Also included with sale is a small microwave if wanted.
Trailer dimensions are 21'10' overall length, 6'9" overall width, 8' ht (less A/C), Hitch ht 15", Hitch ball is 2". Weights (approx) are: Base dry 2580, hitch or pin 240. Capacities are: LPG 7 gal, fresh 22 gal, gray 13 gal, waste 12 gal, water heater 6 gal, furnace is 19,000 btu. Trailer does not come with an awning (never installed). Tires are in decent shape - trailer is ready to be towed off.

Unlike motorized RVs, travel trailers are detachable from the towing vehicles. This means that once the user has found a suitable location in which to park or stay, he or she can use the towing vehicle to shop, sightsee, or run errands, without having to maneuver a large RV through traffic or tight spaces. In addition to basic living necessities (such as bathrooms, showers, refrigerators, stoves, and beds), these detachable RVs can also be outfitted with almost all of the comforts of home, including TVs, microwaves, coffee makers, air conditioners, and so on.
Most travel trailers are designed to be towed by a light duty truck or SUV with a standard hitch attached to the bumper or frame. Another type of towable RV is the fifth wheel RV. Fifth wheel RVs are similar to regular travel trailers, except that they are designed to be towed by a pickup truck outfitted with a special hitch on the truck bed. Fifth wheel RVs also have an overhead section that sits above the truck cab.
With the rising popularity of sport vehicles like ATVs, sport bikes, and personal watercraft, travel trailers that can transport these vehicles are being offered. These kinds of trailers are sometimes called Toy Haulers or "Toy Boxes." Travel trailers of all types are designed primarily for recreational instead of full-time use. Some states regulate the size of travel trailers, requiring that they not exceed 400 square feet of living space.
