GWV Vacations, a travel retailer specializing in all-inclusive vacations, selected Silverscape to manage all of their advertising and marketing efforts. Though GWV Vacations is New England’s premier vacation company, they have maintained a traditional, no-frills image that has kept them from expanding their market share. As the landscape of vacation sales has changed in recent years, GWV Vacations sought to reach more specific demographics and drive traffic to their website. Silverscape approached the engagement in two parts—first as a branding assignment and second as a product-specific advertising endeavor. After building a media plan that targeted women, the travel industry’s key demographic, Silverscape designed advertising that spoke to specific demographics, particularly young adults, couples, families and seniors. The campaign included billboards, elevator advertising, radio, print, cinema and transportation advertising.

We had a horrible experience with TNT!!! Don't waste your money!!!!! My pregnant wife and I were horrified by the substandard service TNT offered. We were delayed 5 hours on departure and 28...yes 28 hours, on our return with little to no information. And the VIP package??? FALSE ADVERTISING, it gets you nothing! The flight on Ryan Airlines was a joke... a "vintage" aircraft and crew...small, cramped, hot, loud, no food, ect!!! We suffered delays that bordered on ridiculous and were never given any info. We spent 200.00 calling to find another flight out of Mexico as TNT completely screwed up EVERYTHING!! My wife and I were forced to sleep in the hotel lobby the last night (my pregnant wife) because TNT never informed the hotel of the delay. Real Pros!! This is an exceptionally poorly run organization that cares little for its clients...STAY AWAY!!!
0945 (Mexican/Central time): After clearing customs, shuttle arrives at Gran Costa Real Hotel in Cancun, an alleged ׃ Star” hotel. We bought the “all inclusive” package – meals, drinks, tips all paid for up front. We descend into Rap Hell. We were assured by TNT that “spring break is over.” They lied. The place is elbow-to-backside with drunken college students, many having assumed the horizontal, gravity-challenged position. Vulgar rap music blares from speakers making conversation almost impossible. Our room won’t be ready (disinfected?) until 1500, so my Lady and I spend five hours trying not to trip over drunks and cringing at the “music.” It’s raining, so we huddle in the lounge in a far corner. Smokers are everywhere (mostly college age women; what do they think is attractive about smoking?) and foul cigarette smoke blankets the room and grounds.

TNT offers charter packages to the Caribbean out of Boston Massachusetts as well as scheduled air vacations nationwide. We had used TNT once before as well as GWV Vacations twice before - all for Caribbean vacations. Our two experiences with GWV were spectacular - no complaints. Our trip with TNT 4 years ago was ok but not as good as GWV. This spring we were looking for a nice trip on a budget and TNT had GWV beat price wise so we decided to try them again. We were not disappointed!
Our flight was on Ryan Air and it departed on time and even arrived in Punta Cana 30 minutes ahead of schedule. The flight was smooth and the movie on board was Walk the Line. The flight time was 3.5 hours. When dealing with Charter packages we knew that if there is a problem with the plane there is not another flight you can just hop on to. You have to wait for that plane to get fixed. So we knew there was a good possibility for delay. But we were willing to risk a delay for getting a direct flight. Luckily there were no delays at all.
Arriving at the airport we went trough customs and got our luggage without any problem. When we walked outside there was a TNT Rep with a sign standing right there. They asked us our resort and told us our bus number. Our bus had people for four other resorts. We received a hand out from a TNT rep. with their name and the hours they will be at our resort. It also had a list of the excursions they recommended. We arrived to our resort about 30 minutes after we left.
TNT was on time to pick us up from our resort and take us to the airport. They herded us around at the airport and it was painless getting through the lines. Again, they asked us to be at the airport about 2 hours early. It took about 1 hour to get to our gate and again our flight took off on time. A 3 hour 45 minute flight. Smooth flight and another good movie – Coach Carter.
This time around with TNT was exceptional. We could not have been happier. We were not really happy with our hotel - but that is for a different review:). Every aspect that TNT had control over was very close to perfect. From day one with reservations, to the rep in line at the airport, to the rep at the hotel, to the flights - TNT came through with flying colors. We will use them again in the future.
